Oh my fucking God. Sorry, Italians.

Does this mean it's a bloody fight to the death? With weapons? Like is Zuck gonna have a net and trident??? He should.

sophiamcdougall

Only acceptable way for this to happen.

As an Italian, I demand they respect our traditions and allow us to release hungry lions into the arena as they fight.

robin-the-robo

As an Italian, I second that. I also think we should add Elephants and Bears to the mix.

they had all sorts of animals inside the arena. let's not limit ourselves to lions

The 'hyperspecific situations' polls are really once again highlighting that native English speakers tend to forget that 'foreign' doesn't mean 'non-English' or 'non-American'

"Did you watch a foreign language movie in the past three days?" Yeah I watched the foreign movie "The Martian" with foreign actor Matt Damon

Op why would you hide this is the tags

i'm speaking it right now!

Watched some Masterchef Italy the other day and there was a guy who had fibromyalgia (a chronic pain disorder that also gives you fatigue and sleep and memory issues, which I am also getting tested for atm) and I was like oh, it’s cool that he’s talking openly about it! Man’s like “yeah half of my body hurts. But I’ll be making pasta by hand anyway because it tastes better, and I’m here to WIN.”

And instead of like, I don’t know, just keep going about their things… every single fuckin contestant had something mean to say about it. They were all rolling their eyes and saying he was complaining over nothing when literally the only accommodation he got is that he was allowed to sit down AFTER having cooked and presented his dish.

Like why do you have this need to invalidate other people’s problems? When it literally isn’t affecting you in the slightest??

having anything that isn't widely known in italy basically means having people groan and roll their eyes every time it affects your life not even theirs. just yours. chronic pain cooking show robin's things
